Thurrock Spirited Arts Competition - Entries close at the end of the spring term

Thurrock Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (RE) would like to invite children and young people from all school phases to join our Spirited Arts Competition. We welcome entries of art (drawing, painting or sketching etc.) from all Thurrock pupils. Pupils can enter individually or as a group. The competition starts on 18 January 2021 and closes on 26 March 2021.

There are 5 different themes to choose from

  • "We have far more in common with each other than divides us"
  • God's good earth - Beautiful World, Wonderful God
  • Where is God?
  • Healing
  • Inspiring

Further information about these themes can be found on the competition link below. There will be prizes for a runner up and winner in each theme. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from SACRE. . A display of the best art work will be displayed on SACRE website and other social media platforms. This project will allow you to enter the local Thurrock Spirited Arts Competition. We would encourage you to enter your best 10 pieces of work in the NATRE national “Spirited Arts Competition” More details about that can be found here: https://www.natre.org.uk/about-natre/projects/spirited-arts/spirited-arts-2020/
