Week beginning 16.07.2018:

This week the children will be publishing their stories about The Rabbits's Tail. They will also be completing other foundation subjects such as: R.E, D.T., P.E and Humanities.

It will be an emotional last week, as we say farewell to the children who have worked extremely hard all year. We will be having some enjoyable lessons throughout the week.

Sport's day was a success and the children really enjoyed participating in it. Thank you to all of the parents who supported their child on the day it was very much appreciated.

Please note, Swimming will take place this Friday.

Each child should complete 10 minutes of reading per day. Please sign your child's reading record every time your child reads to you at home and to let us know when they have finished each book. Book changing days are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We encourage all children to read a range of books, if your child would like to read books from home or the local library, we would encourage you to record these in their reading record.

20.2.18 3C have been exploring pneumatics with Miss McAnally. First we learnt that pneumatics means using air to move objects. We explored different objects that use air and thought about how they worked. Then we tried inflating a balloon with a syringe to lift a ruler from the table. Using everything we had learnt, we then created our own moving monsters by using syringes to push air through a tube to open and close a monsters mouth.
