Each week, homework will be set on Friday and this must be submitted by the following Thursday (Friday for 3H).

Reading Homework

Please ensure that your child reads every day for 15 minutes. Record the date and name of the reading book in your child's Reading Record. Please sign each entry in the comments section. Please ensure that there are at least 5 entries, over 5 separate days, for each week.

Please access Bug Club (login details have been sent home) so that your child can read at home (in addition to their other class book.) 

Spelling Homework

Your child will have spellings to learn at home. These need to be practised in preparation for a Spelling Test that will take place in school. These will be uploaded to Google Classroom each Friday. 

Maths or English task

Children will also be given one other piece of homework per week - Maths or an English task. This will be sent home in a folder.
