Survey on the Thurrock Council Consultation Portal

 

The aims are as follows:

 

• Consult with parents, carers and young people around the processing of request an EHCP

• Consult with educational providers around the process of requesting an EHCP

• Consult with parents, carers and young people around the process of the annual EHCP review

 

They would like participants to consider;

 

• What communication they received from the SEND team re the request for an EHCP

• How educational providers are able to work alongside the SEND team re the process of requesting an EHCP

• How the annual process is viewed by parents, carers, educational colleagues and young people

 

Responses will;

• Inform the work we are undertaking to support our SEND Written Statement of Action required by Ofsted
