To support your child's progress on blending in Phonics.  Please find attached some words to practise blending.  You will need to use your child's RWI group colour as guidance.  If they normally have a red/green book-use the corresponding document. 

 

For those in orange and yellow groups, please wait until mid January before attempting the split digraphs.  

They are banded differently depending on the sounds your child has been taught.  Ask them to look for the special friends in the words e.g. twirl, brute, and chair.
