We at the school find the work that support staff do for the school to be priceless. They will always go the extra mile for the school and the children. Whether that be caretakers, midday assistants or teaching assistants.
Because of this it has come to a decision to work with UNISON to help highlight the work that support staff do for the school.
In the next upcoming weeks we are getting involved with regional awards for the best support staff In Thurrock to highlight the work that support staff do. The awards are going to be organised and run by the union UNISON where they are encouraging all children, parents and staff to vote for your number one support staff.
Someone you may know that has helped your child out, whether that be providing your child pencils when they have forgotten their pencil case.
Or someone who has gone the extra mile to make sure your child understands the requirements of the task?
Or whether that be a midday assistant who always gets involved with the play grounds games?
Or even the care taker who helps make sure the school is safe for your child?
Nominations will be open from the afternoon of the 13th of November till the 15th of November Morning, the nomination star box and forms will be in reception.
The winners of the award will be getting prizes from UNISON, handed out by the mayor, but they need your vote
So please next time you are in the school please give your vote for the best support staff that you feel deserve the recognition and award of the best support staff?
