Little Amal: The Walk – July to November 2021

This is to alert you to a travelling international festival of art and hope taking place in support of refugees: The Walk.  Little Amal, a 3.5 metre-tall puppet of a 9 year old Syrian refugee girl, will walk across the European continent to shine a light on the stories of millions of young refugees.  Amal arrives in England on 18 October and concludes her journey in Manchester on 3 November 2021.  In preparation for Amal’s arrival there is an education programme for schools with creative learning projects and a variety of resources and events available on the website  Education - The Walk (walkwithamal.org)

Cardinal Vincent is very keen to ensure that the Catholic community in England and Wales gives this maximum support by engaging with the activities and raising awareness.
